Can nightmares cause increased AHI?

Post by dusty0318 » Sat Apr 30, 2011 2:05 am

My AHI has been running in the 5-6 range since 4-19 except for 2 days when I had 11.8 and 21.7 and I'm wondering if I had nightmares those nights that could have caused that. Anyone have an idea or thought?

Hi, it's more likely that whatever caused the higher AHI's (e.g., an unexpected leak) also caused you to have nightmares. Your 'thinking' has no effect on whether or not the Cpap air pressure is effective.
