Rainy night in Georgia

Post by Woody » Wed Apr 27, 2011 6:29 pm

Well I live in a small rural town in Ga. How small you might ask? Well I saw a note on a public
bulletin board "lost black angus bull big full growed please call" I just loved the full growed part.
So I thought it prudent to recharge the battery backup in case of a power outage. In the 4 years
I have used my CPAP I have needed it twice.

It's a rainy night in Ohio too but no one ever wrote a song about that. I don't believe I've ever experienced a power outage during the night since I've been on Cpap. Don't want to either.

I just had one last night (a power outage that is)... lasted about 1 hour. And NO it wasn't raining (for a change!)

Woody,

I do not know which little town that you are in in Georgia. However, I pray that it isn't one of those that was hit by the tornados last night.

amos in the little town of Atlanta

Two days after I received my cpap gear the power went out for 14 hours, two nights later it went out again but only 10 hours . Next day I went into town and bought a 12 volt battery and inverter..............that was 1 year ago, haven't lost power since
Cheers
Nan
Started cpap in 2010.. still at it with great results.

I've got a good friend, an electrical engineer who's in charge of the technical operations of a small utility in Alabama. Haven't heard from him in a few days. I expect he's got his hands full right about now. . .
