I got the last one at Walmart, but that was 4 or 5 years ago I think. Don't really know what they go for these days, but likely cheaper than $60 something for the CPAP pillows.

If the memory foam pillow doesn't work, also consider the buckwheat hull pillows you can get in stores and online.

I slept on one for about the last 12 years (well, several to be specific, one afte the other every few years). When I started on CPAP, I found - and was backed up by forum members - that they work very well for PAP'ers. For me, the buckwheat hulls move out of the way of anything they encounter, like your mask. There's limited movement though, so the mask will shift them, but your head gets cradled.

Just ordered a buckwheat pillow, TalonNYC. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I take it that the hulls don't produce dust when they rub together, right? No one has ever complained of it, but of course my mind has to pick something to worry about.

Also, where can you buy replacement hulls? It's important to me to be able to wash my pillow. But replacing the hulls once in a while is OK with me. I read that the hulls can easily be replaced. Has anyone bought replacement hulls? If so, how much do they cost?

Titration study: AHI: 6.1; RDI: 27; CPAP pressures: 5-8cm

Not-tired behind my eyes and with a clear, cool head!

They don't leak dust, but I've never replaced them either. I do air the pillow out now and then, haven't tried to put it through the washer though.

This is the best price that I have found. Costs $5.00 to ship. http://www.contourliving.com/p-71-conto ... illow.aspx.
It is a little pricey but my Wife says I'm worth it.
