Great news - personally I HATE waiting.

Yes they are always generous with things like that, aren't they?

Hello M-A-L - I think you had a better time of it than I did; at least you had a hint. I had no clue and that upset me like you would not believe. It took almost an entire month from sleep - doctor visit to learn I had sleep apnea. Now, I'm old enough to where time flies by but it sure didn't seem so then. I did shop around and read thousands of reviews on the various equipment items that would be needed if the results turned out positive. I also got an early elementary education right here on cpaptalk. By the time I visited the sleep doc for the first time I had selected everything I was going to start out using. Although I am Medicare eligible I had decided to purchase my own equipment for a variety of reasons; the number 1 being I didn't want Uncle Whiskers in any more of my personal business than he already was.

It'll soon be over except for the fun in learning how to treat yourself. That's where the wonderful folks on this board will really come in handy for you. Best of luck to you and I hope you have it all down and mastered in short order.

Ach, so you wait PATIENTLY?? I always end up waiting IMPATIENTLY. You're a better "man" than I, Maddie.

I so hope you hear already tomorrow but even if not until Monday or Tuesday so glad that the wait won't be so long as "we" anticipated!!!!

Total hijack of thread:

Who is Uncle Whiskers? Is this the same as Uncle Sam? I have never heard this before! Do explain!

End hijack.

You are very experienced at waiting, so you should be very good at it by now if practice makes perfect. Argh, alas it doesn't work that way. I do hope you get word as soon as possible.

((((( hugs )))))

I think she's working tomorrow and if she gets it early enough, I could still hear from her tomorrow.

I think as far as Easter Monday, it depends on where you live. Where I live now, a lot of businesses (including doctors offices) close on both Good Friday AND Easter Monday. Where we used to live (larger metropolitan area) it would be unheard of for them to close on either of those days.

My doctor is located in a kind of "in between" area -- not big metro, but also not really rural, so it could go either way.

Nothing I can do about it either way -- she'll contact me when she does. In the meantime, I'll just keep doing what I've been doing...
