I don't read every thread either, will pick and choose those that might apply to me or help me out. If I have a question or a problem, instead of just starting a new thread, I will do a "search" and read all that is available of the subject, if I still don't have an answer, I will ask. I have been here just over a year and have learned alot, for example, previous to getting my humidifier and Encore stuff from a member, I didn't read anything on that subject.......now that I have my gear, I am reading everything that pertains to Encore. I am positive that others do exactly the same thing, no one has time to check every thread and respond to the writer. I will chime in and help when I can, sometimes I am wrong and sometimes I have helped someone out. I believe in the "pay it forward" belief as I have received a ton of help and understanding from everyone here, so I must pay it worward too. You will get more comfortable with your cpap set-up and before too long you will be paying it forward too. Relax, if you don't get an answer to your question immediately, wait or better still have you read everything pertaining to your question in the search section? Perhaps someone else has had the same problem as you and it has been solved by others.
Hope this helps in your quest to better therapy, remember persistance and PATIENCE are the keys.

I belong to a lot of forums. Mostly about RV's and Trucks. All forums change and take on a personality of their own. When I joined this forum back in Oct. it was awesome. I stayed up one night and read about 3 moths worth of old posts. Followed a lot of links thanks to rested gal. I would never have been able to get on CPAP without the help of this forum. I made sure that I thanked the posters. In a sense they saved my life. If you look back there are others who concur. This forum is still amazing but I do notice a change. At first I did not see any bickering but there have been some real jerks who disrupted the forum. The regulars on this forum are so gentle and so polite!!! Give the forum a chance and I am sure you will get answers to all your questions. I do not know all the statistics but I think the sheer size of the forum affects how quickly you get an answer. I wonder how many new members there are since say Oct.? LOTS That is a whole bunch of newbies who need help. The archives make great reading. You can learn a lot from others who asked the same questions that you have. Good Luck!!
