Problems with Swift LT for Her pillows leaking
Re: Problems with Swift LT for Her pillows leaking
SU, the Lansinoh actually leads to leaking for me. If I have clean pillows and wash my face at night, my pillows seal tightly without Lansinoh. Also, I have to have the hose routed overhead for my pillows to remain leak-free.

Good suggestion, Rebecca.Rebecca R wrote:Did you try the pantyhose fix? When I was using that mask, my tossing and turning always caused dislodging type leaks in the middle of the night. I made a version of the pantyhose fix that helped. I ended up looking like a bank robber, but it helped the leaks.....

I wouldn't be able to wear ANY of my favorite nasal pillows mask without the added stability a homemade "extra" strap can give.
Headrest, ComfortLite 2, Breeze -- for me, all leak like crazy at times "as is", no matter how much adjusting and readjusting I do. An extra strap (leg cut off a pair of pantyhose tights (*tights* -- not just plain pantyhose) works wonders. Amazing the way that simple addition can turn a frustrating I'm-gonna-RIP-this-thing-off-and-THROW-it-against-the-WALL mask into an "Ahhhh, now I can finally sleep" mask.

SU -
I'm pretty new and I am almost obsessed with getting everything working properly for me. So, I take recommendations posted here quite seriously. Leaky mouth? Yup. So, although dubious I thought, ok, lets go for this "boil and bite" thing. One quick trip to Walmart, .97 cents spent, one pot of boiling water and I had my very own mouth guard. Short story - it really works great in preventing the "blow out puffer cheeks and lip farts". I was really surprised but who am I to question the "pros" here? Don't know if you have ever tried this.
Zero leaks last night with Swift LT and my handy dandy "self adhering" ace bandage chin strap.
PS - these are available in sporting goods section at WM. I actually tried 2, first I tried the youth size and it was ok but I must have bit a little crooked and it made my teeth ache in the middle of the night. 2nd try was a charm - used the adult size.

Are you using the one that goes just on the top teeth, or bottom teeth too?Bright Choice wrote:One quick trip to Walmart, .97 cents spent, one pot of boiling water and I had my very own mouth guard. Short story - it really works great in preventing the "blow out puffer cheeks and lip farts".

I am new and am really curious! What is the pantyhose fix? I have the FX Swift Nasal Pillows Mask and it does leak sometimes from my hose pulling on the pillows during the night.
