Greetings,
For any interested, we are aware that the size compare needs to:
1. Include pics with humidifiers
2. Include APAPs and BiPAPs in addition to CPAPs
3. Show more than two at a time
These upgrades will be coming soon. However, our photography department is my hard working, but college bound, little brother.
As for the S8 vs 420E debate. The S8 weight much more and has a truly integrated HH. The 420E is much lighter but does not have EPR in CPAP mode. The 420 series "slides in and sits on" the humidifier. This is a plus or minus depending on what you are looking for.
I'm not sure you can made a bad choice. However, if you buy any Puritan Bennett machine before the end of the year, you get a free Breeze system and that should be a factor as well.

No optical illusion to me These were photos I took .....ProfessorSleep wrote:It is an optical illusion! No, seriously, it does look bigger- but I think it is a camera angle thing.

But re portability, the PB is by far the easier to lug around in hand baggage due to the very noticable weight difference. If travelling by car or other such transport where hand lugging is not an issue, to me it becomes the flip of a coin
