What are you grateful for?

Post by SnoreNoMore2005 » Sat Dec 24, 2005 7:55 pm

As holidays approach and our year comes to a close, I always enjoy thinking about the things in my life I’m grateful for. While I could write about my blessings for hours, here’s my top 10 list:

- I’m grateful for my beautiful wife and the love that we share.
- I’m grateful for my relative good health.
- I’m grateful for the many valuable lessons my parents taught me.
- I’m grateful for my ability to help less fortunate people in need.
- I’m grateful for the strong religious faith my parents instilled in me.
- I’m grateful for finding caring people in this forum.
- I’m grateful to be living in the most wonderful country in the world.
- I’m grateful for the brave men and women who protect our freedoms.
- I’m grateful for teachers and books that have inspired me.
- I’m grateful for my employees who helped me build my business.

Would anyone else like to tell us what they are grateful for?

Happy Holidays

I was dead at the scene after a head-on crash in April of 2001. Tehy tell me I was dead about 15 or 20 minutes and that they didn't resuscitate me. I just "came back" while they were getting teh other guy out of his car.

I'm grateful for every moment I get to spend with my family and walk around hearing the wind in the trees and the birds twittering. I'm grateful for every new emergence in spring and every leaf falling in autumn and every snowflake this time of year.

I'm also grateful for having the opportunity to talk to all of you.
It happens quick and it will probably not be "convenient". So take the time to smell the roses.

I am grateful for my family this holiday season and for all the wonderful people I have met in my life. I am also thankful for what we have.

I am grateful that I am alive and relatively healthy and have had almost no problems with cpap.
I am grateful for my family and friends. And my pooch.
I am grateful that I am living in this country, the good old USA.
I am grateful for the birds and squirrels that eat the seed I put out for them, and the wonderful sunny Christmas Day today with moderate temps.
I am grateful that I was able to help Katrina evacuees during that horrible time this summer.
I am grateful for this forum and the people who contribute, without which I would know almost nothing about OSA.

Thanks for the question, and Happy Holidays and New Year to all.

Marie

I am grateful for many things, but above all and above everything:

I am grateful for my Savior, Jesus Christ, who was born of woman on this earth as 100 percent God and 100 percent human, and really, is the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas to all,

Andy

I think everyone previous has summed it up quite nicely for me. I am thankful for all of the above, especially friends and family. And I do take the time to "smell the roses" as Yardbird said.

Family coming in shortly for dinner, so I will sign off for now.

Have a wonderful, blessed, peaceful Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!

Maggie

Ditto to all.

I am also very thankful that I was diagnosed with OSA - it was a long haul with many years of symptoms, but I am so blessed to feel the way I do today - NORMAL. It could have been a much worse diagnosis - cancer, etc, so I am thankful there is a treatment that has given me my life back. I have had the best 9 months of my recent life since starting CPAP.

I am thanful for my upcoming wedding - for it means that I have money to spend and family and friends to be with me on our special day.

I am grateful for cpap, for it gave me back my life.
And because of this, I was able to better appreciate my family and friends. My re-emergence out of that brain fog helped remind me to let family and friends know how much I love them while I have the chance and the ability, for life is fleeting. And I am grateful for those who have given me even momentary friendship or a different view of the world, providing me with life's lessons. Praise the bridge that carries you over. Thanks SnoreNoMore, for this opportunity to express our thoughts.
