Ugh - you sound so miserable from this pain. I hope you get relief soon. I have had bulging disks in my neck and the pain was just awful. To know what will best help you, getting an accurate diagnosis is key. The physical therapist helped me with understanding how important neck position was in not aggravating things, and the neurologist showed me on one of the spine demo models exactly what was happening so everything they said about positioning made sense. Neurontin helped a bit. Sure hope you can avoid driving till you know if you are alert enough on these meds. Best wishes as you work thru this.

I would go see a Neuro-Surgeon but would not agree to any surgery except cutting off a vertebral bone spur.

Thinking of you, praying for you, caring about you, and hoping you'll remember to post after your appointment Monday..........

It doesn't sound as if your current pain regimen is working...but if you do get control of your pain, please do not overdo anything at work or otherwise. On meds, you could do more harm than good, trying to keep at your usual tasks without the appropriate perception of pain.
