I do not see a power button for this CPAP so I have just been plugging it.
Is this ok to do?
It seems like it would not be good for the long term but what are you supposed to do?
Thanks

Re: S8 Elite question
As you noticed, it will stay on unless plugged out.
The manual, when describing the fact the S8 blows gently after you turn it off, notes you can unplug it to stop the blowing. I take that as indication that there's no problem with that -- those machines are under a 2 (of is that 5 year?) warranty.
My machine(s) and heated hose have been plugged into a power strip for years - I turn the power off in the morning -- simpler and safer than unplugging.

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.

Re: S8 Elite question
Most of us leave them plugged in all the time. I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I haven't heard of any evidence that it would create any long-term problems.WhoDatSleeping wrote:I do not see a power button for this CPAP so I have just been plugging it.

However, if it would make you feel any better, get a "good" surge protector with an On/Off switch......it should be plugged into one of those, anyway. That way, you can just flip the toggle/rocker switch when you want to turn it on or off.
