Well, good news,I have been sleeping better this week

Hi,
I need to share this with all my friends here. In all the sickness that I have been through in the last month,GOD has been right there by my side,looking out for me.
I came home from the hospital 2 weeks ago and all of a sudden I was able to sleep more than I ever had before,or in the 15 months that I have been on c-pap.
I had been using the Comfortlite 2 for quite a while but lately had been unable to use that mask because my head was so sore from the headache that I had had for a month.
SO, I tried the swift fx, which I had tried many,many, times before,with not much luck,but this time it worked!!!
I have been using it for the last 2 weeks with great success!!! It has been so wonderful to have almost nothing on my head when I lay down to sleep.I still have to wear a chinstrap and I do still have some leaks, but I am finally sleeping better than I ever have before.
My allergies that have been driving me crazy for the past year are finally under control.

SO, you see, GOD never puts more on you than you can stand,and he does answer prayer,it may not be when you want him to,but he does answer!
I was really beginning to think at times that maybe I was just one of the people that just could not use c-pap,I had so many problems,for so long. (Since 2006)
But I am better now,I know that I will make it work because I think I must have finally found that SWEET SPOT that everyone talks about,but I couldn't find.

My doctor has already told me there wasn't anything left for me to do except a tracheotomy.
SO, you just wait till I see him in May!!!

Thanks to everyone, I slept from 11p.m. last night until 4:30 this morning without moving a muscle!
It is unbelievable!!! When I woke up for a minute I was completely dazed and amazed that I had actually slept that long without waking up.
I continued to lay there for awhile just basking in the glory of what good sleep will do for your body and the way you feel.
I truly believe that GOD is allowing me to sleep now that I am fighting off a sickness and need my rest so badly.GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

Perspective is everything. Some would be pitiful if they "only" slept that long and would feel like life was just awful with just 5 hours sleep. For those who have been worn down by going so long with nearly no sleep, that much sleep is glorious. I feel you on this, and I'm happy for you. Who knows, maybe 6, 7, or even 8 are in your near future.

I am on cloud 9 today I feel so good. The prednisone has either helped or masked the headache and other symptoms so after a good night's sleep I am sooooooooooo good today.
