My disappearing data is probably due to a bad SD card

First I called the DME, who didn't have a clue why this should be happening, but gave me the Customer Service phone number for Respironics.

The first thing the CS rep suggested was that it could be a data card that was corrupt. I thought that was unlikely, but when I downloaded the card today, ALL of last night's data was missing! I had another SD card in house, so I popped it into the System One, let it format the card and copy the data, and voila, there was the missing night's data What I forgot to do was go back and see if the data that was missing a couple of nights ago was now restored. I'll do that tomorrow.

Of course I'll watch this carefully, since there still could be something going on with the machine, but now I'm thinking it probably isn't.

I wonder if somehow the daily handling of the SD card has caused a problem. My husband reminded me not to touch the contacts on the card -- I don't *think* I have, but can't rule it out.
