To avoid any confusion, the Hybrid was originally an Innomed product, but is now marketed by RespCare. Both terms refer to the same mask. (Some "old farts" can't keep up... )
For the record, I too tried the Liberty for a while, but it wasn't working well for me. At Roster's suggestion, I got a Hybrid. It was like night and day for me.
But there are some who prefer the Lib, of course... And others who prefer taping.

Thanks for the replay, Gerald. Now I know what to do when it gets to be my turn to become ancient

Innomed and RespCare are related companies. The Hybrid was developed by Innomed and they acquired the FDA approvals. The plant that made the mask was owned by RespCare and RespCare did the marketing.
cpap.com still lists the mask as "Innomed" but other internet suppliers say RespCare.
If you have purchased a new one lately, did they change the box to say RespCare and remove the Innomed markings?

Forgot to add... I've been putting tape over my mouth for six years or more -- every night. Lets me wear the nasal pillows masks I find most comfortable for me. Otherwise I'd have to use a FF mask. Never found a FF mask (including the hybrid types) that was as leakproof or comfy as the nasal pillows masks. And chin straps don't stop my mouthbreathing-during-sleep at all.
Different things work for different people.

I taped my mouth once and it just about gave me a panic attack. I got a papcap and haven't looked back. No mouth leaks at all after the papcap.
