Resmed s9 autoset ?

This is a great machine compared to my old s8. I have a few questions. How do you retrieve your daily results? Also I noticed the heated hose (which is a great feature) has a vinegar smell (I think its the hose) is this normal for a new hose/machine. The person that came out to do start up unwrapped all parts in front of me so I know it was not used.

Do you wash the hose any different than the s8 hose? The man who dropped it off at my home was in and out in 10 min.

I have to say, they really hit the nail on the head when they designed this machine. Even the humid. works better than previous. I also have sinus problems and even though I used the humid. with the s8 I would sometimes wake up with sinus issues but now I feel so much better.

Last question what is the best way to clean the humid. what do most people use?

One last thing that my dme never told me. The man that set up the machine told me I can get a replacement humid. container every 6 months (had last one whole life of machine 6 yrs.) also can replace the gel part of my mask every month) never would have known.

This is the handshake for the clinicians menu. Hopefully you can get your data there. I wash my hose in plain soapy water with a mild non antibacterial soap, or sometimes I clean it in vinegar and water. Same with the humidifier. Yes the S9 has two different humidifiers- one can be replaced every 6 months.

ResMed S9 AutoSet & Elite: Plug in machine and turn the Push Dial until the device is showing the Home position (Home Icon illuminated). In Home position, press the Push Dial and the Setup Menu buttons down simultaneously for 3 seconds. The clinician menu will appear. Select parameter(s) you wish to modify with the Push Dial (push down to select, turn to modify). When done, select the <<home choice from the displayed menu and the adjustment is saved.
