the last few weeks i have been getting chest pains, numbness in my arms and feet. today i was feeling weak and dizzy. any chance any of this could be sleep related? my numbers dont look any different than normal but my work schedule has been really messed up for the last few months and has affected the hours i sleep.
I have already done a lot of bloodwork, xrays, ecg and a few other things. nothing showing up wrong at all so far. glucose is fine, nothing wrong with my heart. Now my doc wants to send me for an mri to see if i have MS
chest pains, numbness
Re: chest pains, numbness
Of course there is a chance this might be related to sleep but there is also a chance it is related to something entirely different. In fact, bigger chance it is related to something else. You are doing the right thing by seeing the doctor and going through all the elimination studies. In the meantime do what you can to better your overall sleep. Sure won't hurt to improve that aspect of your life if you can. I know we all want to blame everything in the world on our sleep or lack of it but as much as we want to, there are simply so many other things that impact our health. Gotta get those sorted out to make sure it isn't something else that might even be easily treated.

Re: chest pains, numbness
ask the doctor to see if you have acid reflux. The symptoms are identical to those you listed. I had the same symptoms and I thought I was having a heart attack. I was only acid reflux and I haven't had it since.

Re: chest pains, numbness
they checked for acid reflux in the hospital. i also went in thinking it was a heart attack. thank you for the suggestion, but i think they are running out of things to check for, and MS seems to cover everything. i will go to my DME to have my card read today just to see what they think. havnt been there in a while and i think im due for a new mask anyway
