App for tracking sleep/AHI?
App for tracking sleep/AHI?
Does anybody know of a good app (for an iphone) that allows you to track your sleep and your cpap results, such as AHI? I've done a search, and checked the wiki, but the closest I can find is the Sleep Tracker by Tylenol PM. It allows you to record the hours you slept (to the closest 15 minutes), your mood for the day, and "notes". It gives two options for graphs, one by day (showing how many hours you slept along with mood) and one by mood (I'm assuming the average hours you slept for days you had that specific mood, but I'm not sure). I'd really like one that allowed you to input your AHI and graph that as well. (And maybe AI, HI, OA, CA...the list could be long....). I'm a visual person, and like to see graphs of how things change over time. I'd love an "app for that". Anybody know of any??

I would like to know of an app for an iphone
that will allow user to enter:
~~number of hours slept
~~AHI
~~mood/how you feel
then allow those values to be viewed in graphic form (on a graph)

You could enter the data in the address book in your phone. It will keep it there, indefinitely, even if you lose the phone.

Re: App for tracking sleep/AHI?
As you've defined it that app doesn't feel compelling enough for someone to write let alone use by someone with a data capable machine. So how about having the app read the data from your PC and synchronize it wirelessly with the data on the iPhone? And if the manufacturers would just realize it is no longer 1980, perhaps they'd let the iPhone grab the data directly from the machine. And once the phone can do that, you'll be able to look at how you doing if you wake up in the middle of the night without having to turn off the CPAP machine and fumble with the control panel (especially on those non-backlit System Ones). Even if you don't want to look at your numbers in the middle of night, wouldn't it be nice to record how you feel by pushing the appropriate button on the iPhone and comparing that with how your therapy was doing. Now, that's an app I'd like to see.
ps: I looked for anything related to sleep apnea awhile back and the only thing I found was an app that monitored sound levels and analyzed your snoring for possible OSA.

Apps are written by all kinds of people--Any volunteers?

Re: App for tracking sleep/AHI?
I would SO like an app like that! I was just trying to keep my "wish list" short, so that I could maybe find an app that is not specifically for OSA, but that could track and graph information. I love my data capable machine, and I have all the info on my computer, but my phone is always with me, even at Dr appointments....so I'd always have the info with me, instead of needing to be at my computer to see it.TooGroggy wrote:As you've defined it that app doesn't feel compelling enough for someone to write let alone use by someone with a data capable machine. I wish I had that kind of knowledge!chunkyfrog wrote:Apps are written by all kinds of people--Any volunteers?
I don't think my address book can put the information into a graph for me.avi123 wrote: You could enter the data in the address book in your phone. It will keep it there, indefinitely, even if you lose the phone.
