I have version 2.4.12.2 and I don't have an option to set the time. There is no time setting under Preferences. What version do you have?
Being stuck with GMT is a pain.

I would be very very interested in the information on where the PRO software for PR S1 might be found!

Go to company settings tab, double click on the "Encore Company" name shown to open it, then you should see it on that tab.
Not Preference, my bad, will go back and edit those instructions. Time in the company settings tab. Leak in Preference tab. I was typing from faulty memory.

Sometimes that company page will be open, and sometimes you have to double click to open it so that the Edit prompt is seen in lower left.

I downloaded Encore Pro 2 (64-bit) today, but when I attempt to install it, I seem to enter an endless loop where the installer says I need to restart, then after the restart, does it again. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I don't have 64 bit computer. Some others with 64 bit have had various problems, hopefully they can shed some light on it. Might do a search of the forum for 64 bit problems and Encore Pro

My usual way to deal with something like that would be to remove the setup files and get another download. Start fresh. Maybe it got messed up some how. That would be the extent of my ideas.

I am having the same problem with the 32 bit install.

I made sure that I have the correct net framework, windows installer 4.5 ect.

I am using vista home premium, SP2. Not sure what the problem may be. Will try the delete all the files and download them again.

Cheers

Hello Pugsy

Thanks very much for all the information you are giving her to help us with Encore Pro 2 and for all the time you have taken to do all that work.

I have a question about the report. I tried to make a 6 months report ( it should be 9/6/2010 to 3/4/2011) and I noticed the Summary of Daily Events Per Hour ( shows only the last week statistics 2/26/2011 to 3/4/2011. I thought it was supposed to show the statistics for the 6 months or the custom dates I have chosen. Does it means we can't have the MaP for the whole period only for the last week? I tried a custom report and I get the same result. There is a last page (Therapy Data Summary - All Data) which seems to show the period of time chosen but you don't have the MaP there.

Thanks very much, you seems to have all your brain back and working, mine is still coming back but maybe what's still missing it's because of an age problem

Win 7 64bits (I had no problem on installation)
Program Version 2.4.12.2
Data base Version 2.3.1.46

What do you want to show in the 6 month report?

The main Therapy page will only show daily details for last 7 days. No matter what date is entered. Though I thought it included summary data. Other daily details are available under the History tab and the corresponding download date. I couldn't find any way to do a report including details all grouped together. The History tab means that we don't have to manually save daily details if we want to go back and see a daily report over 7 days old.

When did you get the software and start using it?

I will go play with custom dates and see if I figure out anything different to do.

I went to Therapy tab, tried 6 month group. I got summary data for the whole six months but again only last 7 nights of details. Those 7 night details won't change despite wide range of dates. If you customize a date that doesn't include last 7 dates, all you will get is summary.

The History page shows all the downloads. There doesn't appear to be any way to customize it further. And of course now the darn thing wants to kick me into "encore not responding" when I try to get click on the "detail". Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Pro is a PITA software.

I would say if someone wants access to daily details past the 7 day window and the History tab details is being a problem, that the daily details should be saved outside of the software. I just take screen shots and put them in a folder. Others could use pdf if they wish. Doesn't have to be done every day but before the old daily detail gets dropped. So once a week.

As I have time I will play with the software some more to see if there is anything else that can be done to make the data reports easier to manage.

Thanks Pugsy

I would find interesting to know how many minutes I have been at a precise pressure (MaP). I think it could give me an idea of how my need is evolving, ex. if I'm needing more time in a pressure when time pass by or if it is doing the opposite. I think because there is the Daily Events Per Hour (chart at the end of each day) that I was wrongly expecting that the Summary of Daily Events Per Hour would show the total time I have been at 8, 9, 10, 11 cmH2O in my case in the last 6 months for Ex. It was my mistake.

I started using Encore Pro last summer ( on my old XP computer), even if I produced a couple of reports for my Dr. I didn't noticed at that time I was not having a MaP data for the whole customized selected time. I was in the clouds, it's only now after almost 11months of effective treatment that my memory and capacities are coming to more normal.

I think I mixed up how works ResScan with what does Encore Pro, I started with a Resmed S8 CPAP , then I had a S8 autoset and the PRS1 at the same time. With ResScan you was able to choose the graphs you want to print. WOW what a mix. Now I have only the PRS1.

Do you mean you are not having the Daily Details pages with the graphs for the last 7 days of the customized dates?

I chose a customized dates from November to January and I get the Daily Details pages with the graphs we always get (for the las 7 days of the customized period of time, meaning last week on January in this case) plus the Summary page at the end with the compliance calculations.

I installed 64-bit with no lasting problems. Try uninstalling *completely* (use Revo Uninstaller if necessary), run Windows Update to make sure your machine is absolutely current, then try a redownload and a reinstall. Don't forget it needs SQL Server to function (which gets installed along with it). (ETA: there is a Service Pack 2 which is an optional update to SQL Server 2008 that has failed as an install on both my machines, which are both 64-bit. All the software I use that needs SQL Server functions just fine).

The first day I installed it, the program kept freezing on me, but it settled down after the first day. Maybe I was too impatient with it at first.

I had not used an actual custom date... I did it just now and I could see old daily details from the Therapy tab when I chose a date 2/2 to 2/12 but I didn't get daily until 2/8 BUT that is likely when I installed the software and got my download. I still can't get more than 7 days of daily though. Set it to 2/2 to 2/18 and got 11-18. So I guess no matter how large the range, we only get the ending 7 days of detail in that range.

Regarding you flow data questions. Remember I am using old M series machine so I don't have any flow graphs.
Someone else will have to explore those. I think I remember someone saying that they couldn't spread them out like ResMed ResScan does. My reports are different than the PR 1 reports.

Times at certain pressures MaP are shown in minutes are on the daily reports are close but I have never seen a "total" for each pressure during a certain period of time if that is what you were looking for. Old fashioned chart hand made might give a trend. Were you wanting to know how much time spent at the different pressures say over the past month? I don't see any search parameters that will give us that. Old fashioned spread sheet would work I suppose but I had never really paid an enormous amount of time looking at MaP times because the 90% number is easily skewed with a leak and the machine chasing leaks. Now if someone wanted to graph nights that didn't have falsely elevated MaP because of chasing leaks, that might show a trend. Sounds like a lot of work to me.
I am all for the less is more thing.

Back when I first started therapy I used to go over these reports with a microscope because things weren't optimal.
Once I got things pretty much straight away, I didn't use the microscope anymore. Just use it to validate things.
If I were having problems I would likely get the microscope out again.

Regarding using this software, Heck, I was curious and I like messing with new stuff. Just thought I would share what I found because I can imagine that navigating around in Pro could be very daunting task for someone without experience messing around in software like this. I just wanted to help explain some of the "how tos" for those that might not have gone poking all around the different places in Pro.
