I am a taper.
Of all the techniques to manage mouth breathing this, taping, is the most controversial.
Whatever technique you use be sure that you can easily remove the tape. Verify this.
The jaw muscles are really strong, This is why a chinstrap, which works for many people, does not work for me.
and remember, The purpose of taping is to seal the lips and prevent mouth leaks / mouth breathing. It is NOT to keep the jaw closed.
taping mouth shut?

along with the fact that teeth aren't air tight, just keeping your jaw closed won't stop mouth breathing.bonjour wrote:The jaw muscles are really strong, This is why a chinstrap, which works for many people, does not work for me.
