It wasn't me, but I do remember seeing mention of the hack. I think it was for the devicescan2.exe with ResScan 3.11. 3.13's is timestamped 1/18/01, so the hack probably won't work on it. I could revert back to the right version of ResScan, but I would have to re-load data, which would re-introduce the scale error for tidal flow. Naw....I'm not going to fool with it.

I do appreciate you mentioning it, though!

Instead of hacking the data card, hack the "air side".

Build a mechanical device that appears to be "a human respiratory system", complete with leaks, osa events etc, and attach that to the cpap machine you wish to use to generate bogus data.. then let it "run" like it was attached to you.. Goes to "bed" at exactly the same time each night.. "wakes up" 8 hours later with what ever statistics you think will keep them happy..

So.. you need a stepper motor driven fire place bellows.. a stepper motor driven valve for mask leakage, and something like a raspberry pi to drive it..

Then the card they get is actually generated by the cpap device.. even works for the "online" versions.

Comstof,
There is no reason to buy Encore Viewer. 1 it is available from sources without cost and 2 ( the best reason) there is a better FREE program called Sleepyhead, written by a member of this forum, that most members of this forum, and apneaboard, use to monitor and tweak their progress.

Look at the very first post in this forum "Pugsy's Pointers ...SleepyHead Tutorial and TX Hints " and you will see not only where to download it from but also how to use it.

Happy CPAP ing!

Jagzoo, you have been bitten by a zombie! (Hope you've had your shots)
This thread was started in 2011 and reanimated recently by snoozwizzard, whoever that is.
It would be fair to expect that the OP has stopped using said dirtbag DME,
who has, hopefully, gone out of business.

I really wish CPAP.com would lock these old threads to prevent new replies. There's no need for threads to be unlocked if they haven't had a response posted for several months.
I'm workin' on it.
