Kira,

I'm really sorry for your loss. I truly hope the stress of this situation doesn't set you back healthwise. I also hope that, after you've allowed yourself to mourn, you are able to move forward with a meaningful, satisfying job that uses your talents well.

Joe

SmartLink module works, but software doesn't, so I'm using SleepyHead. Thanks, JediMark!

Thanks. The series of books I've been working on. <g> The dachshunds and the beagle have, as noted, put their vote in. I should stay home with THEM!

Joe,

Well, it has been stressful -- but thanks to my trusty Bipap ASV, I've been sleeping pretty well in spite of it all. I'm not sure what I'll be looking for... I have other physical limitations which may make it tricky, finding a job in the current uncertain market.

Hi Kiralynx

So it finally happened

And with all the resources and experience of years of selling books, the lack of "fire in the belly" brings distress to you and many others.

I say lack of fire because although my local Borders has just closed it's door here, my local library is flourishing, as are all the libraries in my area. Now I know the library is free, but like many others, there are books I want to own and keep, and I am quite prepared to spend what little spare money I have on getting them.

And libraries often only have 1 copy of a book for a whole geographical area, and if that copy goes missing, or gets damaged, then it may be months, or never, before another copy is available.

So that is my rant, Kiralynx, which I know does not help you. But I have no reservation in believing your inner strength and imagination, will bring something good out of this - for yourself and others.

cheers

Mars
