Great game, everything else absolutely STUNK!

After paying for the air time, obviously not a lot left in the advertising budget for content.

Did the person signing the Star-Spangled Banner include the flub(s)?

Even Slash couldn't save that One-Hit Wonder (meaning, "I Wonder How That Ever Got To Be a Hit?") Black-Eyed Beans.

Or whoever.

Budweiser was disappointing. As were the SEVERAL ripoffs of the E*Trade talking baby.

I go with VW Darth!

And EVERYONE lost on the two minutes Christina Ahcantspellhernamea wasted trying to sing the National Anthem. I wish the jets had arrived sooner to drown that abomination out!

Ditto on Darth VaderVW commercial, and I was embarrassed listening to Christina Ahcantspellhernamea murdering your National Anthem - shameful.

Cheers,

Great game! The rest sucked - BIG TIME! I took a nap w/the TV tuned to the SB station so I wouldn't miss it. I was "slapped awake" by that Christine Whatsherface slaughtering our National Anthem. WHY do these people 1] insist on doing their own version of our National Anthem and 2] NOT realize that our National Anthem is a difficult vocal and turn down the invitation and 3] why don't the "powers that be" have enough common sense to either have a band or orchestra or a choral group perform our National Anthem instead of having it slaughterd by a soloist event after event?

The hay day of the SB commercials has come and gone. They make a big pitch for what have become run of the mill or just plain horrible commercials, many in bad taste. The humor has long gone out of seeing some man battered in the crotch by some flying object even for the most extreme man-haters amongst us.

I did appreciate the Chrysler Detroit commercial. I thought they used extremely good taste. The Budweiser Dogs and the Bridgestone Beavers weren't bad but the "foreigners" who bought out Budweiser obviously don't have the committment our American Bud owners did. I get the sense they intend to phase out the Bud Clydesdales as more expensive than they care to support. The Bud hitch used to compete at our local county fair every year and it was always a thrill to see those big guys and the gorgeous harness and wagon and skilled drivers. Unfortunately, the fair moved to new grounds w/o the facilities for the drafts and big hitches. *sigh* They were always a highlight of the fair even for the city folk and non-horse fans.

It was tough to choose between the two teams! We ended up really rooting for Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay but doggone it was hard to choose between them and Tomlin's Steelers. But if my Pats couldn't be there I sure was glad to see Aaron Rodgers and the Packers make it to the SB and to win it.
