When I first started using cpap several years ago, I HATED it. I hated it as an object, an entity. then I thought, "I'm approaching this all wrong. I have to treat it as a friend". So I started talking nice to it and viewing it as something that was trying to help me. And it worked! So you're not the only one talking to your machine!

You are WAY more polite than I am. And that's nothing compared to what I say to the computer.

From what i've been shouting at my computer over the years I'm sure I am going to be screwed regarding the type of energy thats going to be reflected back
Yes that is why I "clear" all my machines periodically and bless them.... just in case.....

Having lived with this personality for 58+ years I knew from the start that I had to think of my machine and gear as a caring, helpful friend. If I grew to hate it I would throw it out a window...knowing it wouldn't survive the three story fall. I refuse to return to those days (not quite a year ago) were I couldn't think, couldn't find words to express myself, was irritated, depressed, fearful of loosing my job, and dealing with constant, bone-aching exhaustion.
But a name for the S9? Someday perhaps.
Hang in there Kahfree, You CAN do it

Seeing the subject of this thread reminded me of an old question.

What's a four-letter word that ends with "K" and means "intercourse"?.............. "TALK"

Hopefully, that will bring a different perspective to being "connected" to your machines.

Can't say I've ever had a conversation with mine, but we seem to have a close relationship.

All, it's very important to be polite to your computers and electronic equipment. When the computers/robots take over in the future, they're going to remember what you've said.

Any landing you walk away from is a good one; if you don't break your airplane it's excellent.

I talk to my computer, the radio, and myself--but not my cpap. Is there hope for me?
