Help !

Post by Faaaabulous » Sat Jan 22, 2011 8:10 am

I had sex with a stranger last night because I was too drunk. I don't even remember if he used a condom or not. I know I have to get myself tested. I have an oraquick oral home hiv test kit on hand. I ordered it from a website called home-bio-test for just in case I need it. But I think it is too early to get tested. And indeed the result was negative. I hope it's always negative. When should I retest?

I don't know how to respond to this, except maybe it should be OT (for over the top). I hope things work out for you.
I would just be more careful in the future.

I think you are on the wrong forum. I would google for an HIV or AIDS forum and ask this question as they would be more educated in that area. I am not that familiar with the disease, but most viruses have to be in your system for more than 24 hours to show up in testing. Also, check locally at a free health clinic if you do not have the funds to go to your regular doctor or want to remain anonymous. Good luck to you.

LOL! I would think that they would give you instructions with the test kit? I don't think it matters what forum this person posts to.
