Increase my prices by reason of an at fault automotive accid
My personal insurance company simply just told me they will raised my costs because of an responsible vehicle accident, nevertheless I did not get any ticket for that accident. Is this : fair?

Are you talking about car insurance or health insurance?

Insurance companies will use anything to raise your rates, but I'm not sure this is the forum to talk about car insurance. Sorry!

I have no doubt, how I sleep affects every waking moment.
I am making progress-NOW I remember that I can't remember

If this isn’t rocket science why are there so many spaceshots?

Probably not the right forum....Assuming you are talking about car insuranance it is reasonable for a company to take into account any at-fault accident that had claims filed against you (and were paid). Whether or not they should raise your premium is another thing entirely. Other factors should be taken into account....how long have you been with them, # of policies, frequency of claims, other factors (moving violations, etc).
I have had a couple of accidents five years ago with my current company (been with them for 13 or so years). After the second one and a speeding ticket (all 3 events happened within 8 months of each other) they raised my premiums by $50 a month. This lasted 36 months in which case they dropped back to lower than they were to begin with. I personally thought this was completely reasonable in that between the two accidents they were exposed to liability of approximately $10K total.
Very happy with my company and will probably never switch again. Nothing wrong with the company desiring to be profitable. Insurance is supposed to cover you from the unacceptable risk of financial disaster. There is a cost associated with that risk coverage. The riskier you are the higher the premium as it is more likely they will pay out for you than someone else. Unfortunately accident pay-outs are not always indicative of actual risk. In my case one of the accidents that I was at-fault for really wasn't my fault (I just happened to be the car that was in the back behind the advanced aged lady who stopped for no reason in the middle of the interstate).

Absolutely fair! If YOU cause an accident you become a bigger risk. The bigger the risk, the higher the premiums. Read your policy. It's in there...
