Remstar Model differences

Post by Kmath » Wed Jan 05, 2011 7:57 pm

Hi- I've been using resperonics cpap machines for 2-3 years. First with A-Flex, then a Remstar Plus that has C-flex. I ordered a new one on Amazon, ordering the Remstar Pro M, for 550, but would also be fine with the Remstar Plus (current one about to go). They just sent me a Remstar System One... so there are a number of things. One- I have demanded the item I ordered, not this one- and it wasn't just an 'error' because the packing slip said the right model, but in the comment below it says the 'System One' replaces the M Series.

Is System One a new model or an old model. In any case, I want the one I know... because I have to set it myself, and because so far I like the other styling best.
Plus, the System one is listed on Amazon at 411- and they didn't charge the lower price. Angry.

If there is some way I end up stuck with this machine, can anyone tell me how to set my pressure to 8 or tell me what site to go to that will tell me.

Thanks so much.

The M Series has been discontinued by Respironics and has been replaced w/their PR SystemOne series of PAPs. The S1s are considerably more advanced, with a humidifier that won't leak. Its an upgrade is if is also a Pro.

Go to setup in the main menu and hold down the scroll button and the ramp arrow at the same time for a few seconds. That brings up the clinician menu. Setting is the same from there.
