Recently been hearing annoying noise like distant hissing sound from machine on exhale ,is it normal and just been noticing or there something wrong.

Make sure the S9 and humidifier are properly attached.

I had this issue once, and it was because I didn't have the H5i latched in all the way.

My s9 is a loaner for now but does the same exact thing, I will have to check out to connection too!

Not on exhale but mine will make a hissing sound during inhale at high pressure settings. I never notice it because I have a fan blowing in the room for white noise.
