HELP! PR one REMstar Auto Cpap.

Post by tslouis » Sun Jan 02, 2011 9:07 pm

To all cpap user.
I bought this unit six months ago. last month while using, "service require" popped up in the screen and stop working. I sent back to local distributor. according to them, this unit need to be service after the first six months used. They rectified it and sent back to me. But yesterday night, the same thing happened again. The unit just stop working and "service require" popped up in the screen. Do any one know what happened to my unit? Do they lie to me on the six months service matter? I think I have a defect unit! what do you think?

Yea it may be defective. I am not aware of any scheduled service for the machine. You have to bring it back to them - ask for a loaner if they can't fix it while you wait.

Yes! sending back to them. They agreed to loan me a set. The problem is what happened after the warranty period? You don't expect a Cpap unit will only last a year or two rite! I am thinking to ask for a replacement unit. Is that possible? Could any one help

Certainly ask about getting another machine. Write this s/n down so you know. Check to see how many hours are on this machine too. You can find that under Info > Phone In.

You may want to discuss your options with your insurance carrier also, to see what they suggest.
