Happy New Year Y'all

Post by Eureka » Fri Dec 31, 2010 8:05 pm

I'm ready. This afternoon I put a new silicone liner in my 431 FFM -- I changed the hose -- I put in a new humidifier tank. I am ready for the new year. BTW I have just completed my second year on the hose. I got my equipment on December 28 two years ago. I began with a nasal mask, moved to pillows, back to nasal and then to the 431 FFM which I have continued with. In July I had a heart attack and got a couple of stints. I was in the hospital for two nights and they furnished me with the same mask that I use -- their version of the 431. Because it was an emergency situation I didn't have a chance to take my cpap equipment with me, and they took good care of me with hospital equipment. My AHI is up a little since then -- I think because of the medicines I am taking, but running around 2.5 to 3.5
We all have our stories to tell of 2010 -- and look forward to the challenges of 2011. Each night when I lay my head on my pillow I say a little prayer for all my cpap friends -- asking for a good night's rest and strength for tomorrow.
Happy New Year Y'all.

Thank you for thinking of us. May your new year be all good with no more of those emergency situations.

Two years...time does fly, doesn't it.

You certainly had a serious situation with the heart attack back in the summer.
Hope all goes very well for you from now on, Eureka.

Thanks for your good wishes for the new year. Happy New Year.
