water warming

Post by benalexe » Tue Dec 28, 2010 8:59 pm

I have a question about the water in the Humidifier. I noticed there is a little warmer on the humidifier. Shouldn't there be a way to preheat the water before you start using the machine?

On mine the only way to turn on the humidifier is to turn the cpap on. There should be a pre-heat button no?

Overkill IMO.

I don't know about you model or brand of CPAP, but Resmed S9 autoset has a warm up feature. I use it every night. When I get ready to start my routine right before bed, I hit the button and it warms up to the temp that I have set.

A warm-up feature would be nice, but unfortunately, the PR S1 does not have that.

Mine has a preheat feature. But I don't like it. Even at the lowest setting it makes me feel as though I am breathing swamp air. I like to be warm, but breathe cool air. So I preheat my bed.
