Re: IntelliPAP Standard Plus CPAP Machine w/SmartFlex
Using it since last 9weeks, I had untreated and indiagnosed OSA since last 15 or more years, I am completely at peace with this therapy and the machine is excellent.

Dazed...your machine is NOT the same one he's asking about.

I would spend my money on the Intellipap AutoAdjust myself and not this one which will only give compliance data. The AutoAdjust in the Intellipap does not cost a lot more and you have detailed data and a machine that can be used in auto or cpap mode.
Many people on this forum have the Intellipap AutoAdjust and it they really like it.
I don't have it but am sure thinking about it for my next machine.

I agree that you should consider the AutoAdjust model over the straight cpap model. For the small difference in price, you will have a model that can run in either cpap or auto adjust modes and will be fully data capable.
I've had my IP Auto since late August, and it is my first and only machine; therefore, I have no experience with other machines to give you a comparison. That said, I will say I am completely satisfied with its performance and results. My average AHI has been 1.5 for the 4 months I've used it. The software is quite easy to use and understand. It had the longest warranty in the industry. It has a small footprint, and does NOT have a power brick....just a cord from machine to outlet.
I would highly recommend the DeVilbiss IP Auto Adjust as an excellent choice. I purchased mine via secondwindcpap.com and I saw they are now selling the software package as well. Their prices are lower than our host's site, but cpap.com will probably match if you call and ask.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

Okay sorry I didn't specify in my post but I don't care about data, humidity, heat or anything other than reduced pressure when exhaling which I believe this one has. i am not into all of the extras. Just want a reliable, preferably quiet, CPAP
Re: IntelliPAP Standard Plus CPAP Machine w/SmartFlex
Okay....... not sure why you don't care about the details, but the Smartflex is a wonderful feature. DeVilbiss's 'flex' also has their patented Rounding where you set the flex for inhale and / or exhale, but you also set a iRounding and eRounding which makes the transition from pressure to pressure as smooth as glass. I discern no change in pressure at all when using the flex feature.
Now, one thing to mention about the Auto model is that even without the software, you can get the Smart Codes off the LCD display and input those on their website tool to see your data. It isn't as comprehensive as the software gives you, but you get all the important information to know your therapy is working.
I see you've been a member for a long time so I am guessing you are well into your therapy and have it down to a science. I understand that, but I do think it is still good to monitor your numbers once in a while to be sure you are still getting good results..... just my 2 cents worth.
Good luck!!
