My sympathy! When I was taking Cozaar, it would periodically cause me to feel short of breath and then my anxiety over that would just increase my sense of not enough air; I also have this when I wake up suddenly following an apneic event...I'm sure it's some of the same feeling for you only compounded by the added holiday stress. I wish you the best and that you find the time to rest...engaging more of the family to help our might work; John that wish is for you too! Cheers to both of you for sharing your journey with us!

Also apologies for my role in making the chat room so exciting that you didn't get to bed on time (nor did I...).
That's okay. I had the power to leave and just didn't, even after you left!! It was fascinating.

As far as the machine, I AM getting the air. I can feel it. I have trouble pushing it in and out.

But last night was good. Went to bed on time and didn't have anybody sitting on my chest!

Thank you, Muse-Inc! I wake up a lot during the night, but usually don't have any trouble breathing. I'm lucky that way, but on the other hand, I am on a ventilator!! LOL

Like I said, I had a good night last night and no issues. So, I'm pretty content today. I'm going to have a good day, good night and a good holiday.

That's my plan anyway. Not stressing over my breathing issues right now. I've got 6 people coming over to spend Christmas Eve with us and I've got to finish preparing food and such. This body is going to have to breathe okay and I won't tolerate anything less. Hee Hee.

Thanks Julie. I don't have high hopes that things will be good long term, but I'm going to do everything I can to get through the next two days without trouble. I don't have time for the trouble.

I'm hoping positive thoughts will ward off trouble for a few days.
