i am using respironics bipap auto with biflex since the last two years and am completely satisfied with the results. However, the only disadvantage is that the encore pro does not report any central apneas, which is probably due to the fact, that m series may not be detecting central apneas. i have heard that respironics new machine bipap auto with biflex system one can read central apneas and is an advanced version compare to bipap auto with biflex m series.
could the worthy members of this forum give their opinion, whether bipap auto with bflex system one provide better therarpy in any respect compared to the older version. thanks.
BIPAP AUTO WITH BIFLEX M SERIES AND SYSTEM ONE
Re: BIPAP AUTO WITH BIFLEX M SERIES AND SYSTEM ONE
I'm afraid I can't help much other than to say that the System One (at least the apap) DOES indeed record centrals. Actually, they are referred to Clear Airway events (as opposed to obstructed airway events), but from what I understand, they are basically the same. Hope that helps!
