Hi,

I do not feel qualified to say any more than this: you need to treat yourself as a beloved, and not give up. If you ever need to just talk about how you feel, I am here. When you walk into that appointment on Tuesday with your list, know we are all with you. If it would help clarify things for you, you could make your list as Bobysue so safely advised and share it here. You are too tired and stressed to rely on your memory. Wish I could drive you to the doctor's office. Bear hugs and

Namaste,
MoonBear

UPDATE******************************

I saw my PCP today and told her about my problems. She referred me to an ENT specialist because she thinks that it would be helpful for me to see what they say first and then go from there before having another sleep study. The nurse that I talked to before I saw the doctor told me that he suffers from sleep apnea as well. He said that he has been using CPAP for a while but is going to have surgery. He told me exactly which ENT I should see and that I should avoid the ones on the military post if at all possible. He said that the ENT in the community has an 80% success rate but the ones on post are around 20% with most people being very unhappy with the procedure. The community ENT even tried to talk him out of having one of the procedures he wanted initially. It's pretty rare for a surgeon to suggest against surgery. The nurse knew of the ENT 15 years ago when he last worked in this area.

Thank you to everyone for your helpful and reassuring replies. I have Tricare Prime and my PCP said that there is about a 50% chance that I will be referred off site because one of the military ENTs is on maternity leave. Does anyone know if Complex Sleep Apnea can be successfully treated by surgery?
