Is respironics easylife made in china ? ?????

I newly bougth a respironics easylife nasal mask.
It seems a well quality product.
And its shape fits with my nose.
It is quite comfortable for my face.
But I have a problem ...
On the package it is written "Made in China".....
Does respironics company have any plant in China ????
Or this is a imitative product????
Does anyone have any information about the issue?
If you reply urgently I would be pleased...

nearly all electronics are made in the far east. It doesn't mater what you buy most of the electronic parts are made there. It is cheaper. It is called capitalism and free trade.

I do not care the eyes of the worker who produce the mask slanted or not....
My problem is the material....
I wear the mask every night for 5 hours at least...
I do not want to have any irritation on my face...

Get a USA made T-Shirt and cut a mask shaped triangle to go between your face and the mask. I don't want any silicone touching my face, either. And I don't care where it is made, as I was made in Taiwan.

It would be nice if someone (FDA) would do the necessary testing on these products--honestly, thoroughly;
and it appears that products sometimes make it to consumers without this testing. (The media really milks this. . .IMHOP)
I would like to say that the country of origin does not make a difference, and maybe it does not--or does.
Remember, that even though corruption can be everywhere; our own fear may harm us more--if we let it.
I have had excellent service from Chinese-made products, and often more affordable to boot.

It doesn't matter. Resmed or FisherP. or DeVilbiss may have them made in China, but they must meet the company standards or they won't be made there for long. It's just geography!

I guess that's the problem then, on why the china made Respironics Comfort Gel Nasal Masks all have widely different mask vent rates, the company wants it that way, not that china built products have poor standards. Good to know. Jim

The vent rate problem continues after years, so I guess both don't care as long as product is sold and profit is made.
