I have been 100% compliant since starting CPAP six weeks ago. However, last night I had a scary experience. At 4 a.m. I woke up to discover that I had no mask on and the machine was not on. I have no memory of having gotten up during the night or taken the mask off. What adds to my worry is realizing that the mask was placed neatly on top of the machine as I carefully do each morning.
Should I be worried?
