OT: Potentially problematic combo

Post by trike-mike » Sat Nov 13, 2010 2:07 pm

After quite a few days of cold and/or dismal weather it is utterly beautiful here today. One must use extreme caution on such days with such a day taking in combination with:
  • Mercedes SLK32 AMG (tiny and light roadster with monster horsepower and torque)
  • Top down
  • George Thorogood... loud
I didn't break the speed limit at all. Not even a bit. However, the cop that pulled me over (didn't notice the stealth car about 4 back and a lane over) commented on just how fast I got to the speed limit and suggested that my exuberance for the day be just a tiny bit more muted.

He did, then, comment on just how evil it sounded when it exploded out of the light vs. how quiet and sedate it seemed sitting there idling and suggested he might look for one like that himself.

We parted friends

Any time spent being unhappy is wasted.

Hmm... never thought of that. Should put "ACME" on the Merc somewhere

Maybe I would catch that dang roadrunner.
