Drooling in side full face mask!!!
Last night was night #2 with my new Zzz mask. It went fairly well with one little problem. I drooled like crazy inside my mask! It collected in the bottom corner and caused the mask to loose it's seal. I am pretty sure that is what woke me up after about 5 hours. I couldn't get the mask to feel right again so I took it off and slept for the rest of the night without it. Anyone else have this icky problem?

Yes, I do. I frequently wake up with drool pooled in the corner like you describe. I keep paper towels on my nightstand and wipe it out, then mask back up. I usually don't have much problem, but since I can't breathe without it, I HAVE to make it work, even if the mask leaks some afterwards.ChelseaChestnut wrote:Last night was night #2 with my new Zzz mask. No matter how dry my mouth gets, there's still enough drool to loosen the blue tape.
No, wait, I must be slobbering the tape off and THEN I get a dry mouth.

Unfortunately, yes, I did, too.ChelseaChestnut wrote:Anyone else have this icky problem?
I asked my doc about it, and he told me that it should stop with a highter pressure. I don't remember what my pressure was at the time, but we increased it, and sure enough, it settled way down. I may drool a little every now and then, but nothing like at first.
