Can you read the wavform data on that machine? If you can, take a look at that and try to see what type of breathing pattern you were having? I wil asume if you had a night terror you quit breathing. I get the death dreams when I am not getting enough air from having apneas. The dreams try to get you out of dreaming mode. I think the more vivid the dream the deeper you are in the troubled waters of not breathing. I will make an assumption here that when you get close to death the dreaming turns to vivid flashbacks ( this is where you see images/video progressing at a rapid rate. kind of like watching a video and seeing images one right after another.) I have been awake/asleep and could see this happening. It was kind of like a mild halucination overlayed on my normal visual seen. I don't know what you was dreaming about but I would like to hear about it.

This specific event happened last year and I do NOT have access to any data from that time period. When I've had issues more recently, I have tried to look at the data to see if I can find a corresponding event. Sometimes I can see something, sometimes I cannot. Even when I see something, all I can really get from it is an increase in respiratory rate or inhale pressure or perhaps a decrease in PTB or Tidal Volume.

Because the Trilogy is a ventilator, I believe the software is geared more towards respiratory data than sleep related information.

My night terrors are typically like hallucinations. I think I am awake and see something (or someone) threatening me in some way. It seems very real to me and I frequently will let out blood curdling screams until I become fully aware of my surroundings. Frequently, I am so upset that I am hysterical and crying for a while afterwards.
