Are there any DeVilbiss IntelliPap BiLevel users in the forum.
I am a longtime (22 Years) XPAP User currently on my third machine, a now aging Respironics BiPap Plus with BIFLEX . I like the machine, and I have found the BIFLEX feature to be more comfortable that its predecessor Sullivan BiLevel. However, I travel frequently, and the present machine is a pain to pack and carry with its tangle of external cords, "Power Brick" , humidifier assembly, etc.
Though this machine is currently working well, I realize that it is likely approaching the end of its service life, and I am trying to plan ahead for its eventual replacement. I don't want to have to make a snap decision when it dies some night and I require a quick replacement.
The on-line description of the DeVilbiss Intellipap BiLevel sounds very appealing, but I do wonder if the DeVilbiss "Pressure Rounding" feature affords as much breathing comfort as the Respironics Flex pressure relief. Does anyone have experience regarding this?? I am disinterested in the rival software readouts - I have used machines with essentially no readouts other than runtime for so long that aspect is not important to me.

DeVilbiss added the Rounding and Smartflex to the Auto Cpap in August. The Rounding is a patented feature that makes the transition from pressure to pressure smooth as can be. On the Auto, you can adjust the settings for the Smartflex for inhalation and exhalation, and the Rounding is also set for iRounding and eRounding respectively.
If you look for DeVilbiss Marketing, a user on this forum, you can PM her for more information. She is a marketing rep for the company, and she is great to work with and get information from. I seem to remember someone asking about a new BiLevel machine due out soon. She might be able to give you a heads up on that possibility, too.
I can tell you that I am immensely happy with my Auto Adjust w/Smartflex. Super quiet, no power brick, 3 yr warranty.....and, even though you say you aren't interested in the software, the SmartLink is very easy to use.
Good luck.... I hope you can get the information you need soon. Devilbiss Marketing is on here several times a week, and I believe she has her PM's set to email her an notification so I am sure you will hear back soon if you send her a PM.

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
