I use Paula's Choice, also. This is the same gentle cleanser i use on my face. It rinses clean and leaves no residue. I'm really sensitive to any smells left behind and this leaves nothing. The only thing i usually wash with soap is my nasal pillow each morning. I find with distilled water my humidifier rarely needs cleaning and since i got a heated hose, the hose stays dry so I just leave it alone.

I use either baby soap or Ivory liquid. Both are unscented and rinse clean without leaving any soap film.
