I was just wondering if anyone here lives in or near the Twin Cities and knows of a good sleep doctor that I can go to. I currently do not like the one I have now and am looking for a competent one. I have been on cpap for two years and am still having quite a bit of daytime fatigue. My cpap treatment is where it should be but I am still tired. I have tried Nuvigil with no improvement. I need a dr. that will listen to me instead of just shoving me off to the side and telling me its all in my head and that everything is fine. I am sick of feeling tired.
My son's doctor suggested a dr. by the name of Jagdeep Bijwadia here in the Twin Cities. Also, just wondering if anyone else has heard of him or knows anything about him.

I had mine done in Brainerd. Very competent and reasonable prices.

Call the Mayo Clinic. They're cheaper, and far better quality than any sleep doctor/center/facility in the Twin Cities.

I think the Mayo is a bad choice based on price.. They wanted over $5000 for my sleep lab test. Brainerd is around $1300. Other MN clinics wanted about $3000.

If you have insurance, you'll be quite surprised. If not...sure go elsewhere.

MY Sleep doc is in the Pulmonary Critical Care center in St. Paul. I don't remember her name but she seemed to be compitent.

I believe that's where mine is now. PCCA is my medical supply company. I don't have a problem with them but my doctor is from St. Paul Lung Clinic which I don't care for. They need to learn to LISTEN instead of forming an opinion beforehand that you don't know what your talking about.
