Activa as compared with Mirage Softgel?
Activa as compared with Mirage Softgel?
I've used the Activa for several years, wondering how the softgel compares?

I prefer the Activa to the Mirage Soft Gel.mrammell wrote:I've used the Activa for several years, wondering how the softgel compares?
The MSG applies a broad pressure under the nose, often causing applying pressure to the anterior upper teeth. The Activa is thinner, as as the pressure climbs it forms a fit against the face. The Activa is lighter weight also. The frame of the Activa can position between the upper and lower lip, a strange sensation.
The Respironics Comfort Classic is even thinner and lighter, and is my favorite of the three.

If you get the Activa LT frame, you could use either... the cushions are interchangeable. I prefer the Activa LT cushion because it is so much lighter and I found it doesn't leak at all. The soft gel is heavier and required me to tighten the straps to keep from leaking. I don't know how the Activa LT compares to the original Activa, but they seem pretty similar from what I can tell.
