Cpap masks

Post by Nick » Tue Mar 28, 2006 9:27 am

Finally a forum for CPAP users. I am a new user of about a year. I had to junk the first equipment my insurance company would pay for, as it was just that, junk. Just a note on the bridge of the nose damage with some masks. I had the same problem and tried different things. What I found works best for me (that is before, as I am throwing mine in the trash and getting a swift) is nail biting liquid. I put a small coating on the bridge of my nose and just wash it off in the morning. It does not effect the seal as it is so thin.

moleskin?

Post by luvmykatz » Tue Mar 28, 2006 12:26 pm

dkeat--I have not yet tried a full-face mask but having read through the forum others have mentioned moleskin to pad the forehead before--have you given that a try? It would be thinner than the wad of toilet paper. Good luck.

I use the Mirage only when I have a cold and have to breathe through my mouth. The leaks wake me up to many times to use every night. Usually I just use a nasal pillow.
