info from auto bipap to mac?

hello
I have a new respironics/phillips Bipap Auto bi-flex with a heated humidifier and quattro full face mask

where do I get the software to access more detailed information about AHIs and other info?

does the software come with info on how to load it into the machine and transfer it to my mac?

I have a macbook OS X with version 10.04.11

The only way to run PC software on a Mac is to use Bootcamp or Parallels or Vmware on your Mac and then install Windows. Now, having said that, I don't know if your Mac can even run any of that. You have an OS that is dated.....10.04.11 is at least 3 yrs old. Is your MB Intel? You'll need to find out if you can run Bootcamp or Parallels on that MB first. If it isn't capable, you might want to just get yourself a good Windows netbook. I run my SmarkLink software on my Eee netbook and it works perfectly. I use an iMac during the day for work, but I didn't want to run Wiindows on it.... others here will tell you it works just fine, but you need to determine if you can do that with your old system.

I take it what you are saying is that there is not a program for a mac?

I do have an intel chip inside my mac

but let's say I have to get a PC...where do I go to get the software?

Correct...the software is not written for Macs.... it works only with Windows. However, one can run Windows on a Mac with either Bootcamp or Parallels or Vmware and then installing Windows. Once that is done, you can run the software...whew!

Look for Uncle_Bob on this forum....he has download links for your software on the left side of any post under his avatar. I am not familiar with your machine or software.

The software you need is EncoreView 2.0 and cpap.com sells it. Some here use EncorePro, which gives somewhat more information. You can do a search for that on the Forum.

EncoreView runs fine on Mac + bootcamp (which is provided free with OSX). You need a copy of Windows. Windows XP seems to cause less trouble than the newer Vista and Windows 7. If you decide to go the route of getting a PC, be aware that it's more trouble to use EncoreView on 64-bit than the older 32-bit machines though apparently there are some here who have made it work.
