People helping people. That's why it's so upsetting when trolls post as they're not here to help anyone.
It's a way to give back because you were helped so much here.
And it's people you get to know even though you never met them.
It's the support!!!

The most advances in sleep medicine and its control. It may seem that a forum is not the first place to go, but I've found that it is. You can pick up on the most unheard of things here - thing that would take you forever in the outside world to find - if ever.

I keep coming back because there is so much information here and so much to learn. The information I got from the people here was/is paramount to my getting to where I am in my treatment. I will be forever grateful to the people here for taking the time to help me learn and help me understand what in the heck was going on with my therapy.
There are so many wonderful, kind and beautiful people here that I consider friends. It makes me feel good to connect with these people.
As far as trolls are concerned, they are very annoying and I can't help but wonder why they feel the need to cause problems on a forum such as this. But, I sometimes think back and remember a book called "The Nibble Theory" which explains why some people do things like this. And when I think about that explanation, I can't help but feel sorry for the trolls that feel a need to disrupt a wonderful place like this.
I agree they need to be stopped, but they also deserve our pity.

I Know I come and go, but i'm not really a huge forum person anyhow.
This place for along time now has helped me through a couple of rough spots and really taught me allot on how to handle my apnea. And I am tremendously gratefull for that.

I didn't join up until 4 months after I got 'hosed'.
Thank goodness, I lurked early enough to get me a data capable machine.
Thanks to all you nice folks for all the good info--even when you didn't know me yet.

Great post. I found this site when with my first machine and mask I was having terrible problems. I read and read and even through my sleep deprived muddled brain some of it soaked in. Because of this site I now have a data capable apap that works great, Masks that (usually) don't leak, and some actually pretty good nights. It seems like every time I go on this site I learn something new that helps with some problem that I'm having. You folks are great.

I come back every 4 to 6 weeks just to see if anything has changed. Also I suppose to see if E has resolved anything. Haven't been here since probably Thanksgiving and it looks like there was a recent solar storm again. Sad.
I had an issue with my machine the other night and my first thought was to post here and ask a question. I decided not to because it just would have got some people going again.
Morbius, are you bored?

I come back in the futile hope that I will find something that will actually make me feel better.
