I just keep adding more distilled water without throwing the unused water out. For months and months.

For new readers...here's an interesting old topic about many different cleaning routines:

My routine (more like a non-routine):

ResMed S9 VPAP Auto (ASV)
Humidifier: Integrated + Climate Control hose
Mask: Aeiomed Headrest (deconstructed, with homemade straps
3M painters tape over mouth

I only use distilled water. I top mine off and clean the tank once a month. More often if i have a cold. I have nto had any problems that I know of.

I check it each day - I try to put in the right amount at night, so if there is just a tiny bit left in the morning, I dump it. If there is a lot (sometimes my husband uses a bit less with his climate line hose and his s9), then I will just add to it. I do clean my water chamber out every week with one part distilled vinegar to 3 parts water. Never had a problem yet...

Regards to all,

Jersey Girl

Right before bed:
Pour some single match scotch into a glass.
Add the leftover distilled ater from your humidifier to the scotch.
Mix and drink.
Relax
Add fresh distilled water to your tank and go to sleep.

Or Change it out in the morning.
Swallow vitamins
Wash them down with warm distilled water from your tank.

Why would anyone add water to a single malt?
