When I select reports then Summary Data, the dates shown the graph don't agree with the dates selected in the browser (left side of screen). I can select additional dates in the browser and additional days will show in the graph but there appears to be a limit to the number of days included in the graph. I have data from 7/14/10 - 10-22-10, 100 days (100% compliance, I might add).
When I select reports then Usage Compliance, the written date and text under usage appears to agree with what is selected in the browser. However, the dates included in the graph will differ.
If I select Detailed Data, the dates for which I have detailed data will be listed then the report is compiled. It includes detailed graphs (I believe 7 for each day) for all of the days that I have detailed data and these graphs looks ok.
When I use "Review" I can select "Custom" and enter a date range. I believe the graphs shown are for the date range selected. I can use the slider at the bottom and side of the screen to move around.
Questions: 1. Am I missing a date range selection other than the browser somewhere in the "Report" process?
2. I am getting the following error occasionally. "ResScan has caught an Unhandled Exception and caused an Exception and has failed to handle the Exception properly."
The Windows Event Viewer, Application, mentions "Volume Shadow Copy Service error. Google and blogs indicate possible complicated procedures to deal with this. Has anyone dealt with this problem? Thank you very much. (Windows XP Home, with Service Pack 3)

Re: Producing reports, ResScan 3.11?
I have sorted out one of my questions and I'll add my comments to close out this thread. What I found isn't elegant but, C'est La Vie.
My problem is that I can't get the correct or maximum number of days to show in the "Summary Data" when I am in "Reports".
"Summary Data" under reports appears to provide up to 75 days in the template. Until this morning I could not get that many days included.
But by selecting different time periods in the browser and repeatedly opting for the "Summary Data" report, eventually I can get the 75 or 76 days in the graph.
My conclusion is that the browser isn't all that sensitive and doesn't work correctly for me.
Let me know if you see something I am overlooking. Thanks.
