Hi Sid

There is an old English saying (or it may be an old Mars saying ) -

When all else fails - a bottle of rum often helps

and for your immediate safety -

I don't even know what AHI stands for. The pressure setting is 12. The past two nights have been better since I turned the humidity to zero. I did order some replacement parts for the mask, but when this trouble started I ordered a new mask, so I don't think that's the problem now. I'll talk to my family doctor and see if he can recommend another sleep doctor. Thanks.

Hi Sid,
sorry to here of your troubles and hope they are resolved soon.
I think the best thing a person can do for their Sleep Apnea is to get educated on this condition. I would suggest going to the CPAP Wiki link above ( the yellow light bulb) and read, also read as many as the older post here as you can, especially the ones about data capable machines and masks.
