wow!!! climateline hose is great
wow!!! climateline hose is great
Now that the cooler weather has arrived here in NH I was getting a bit of rainout and had not yet bothered to put on my hosecover. Figured I would take this opportunity of to go ahead and order a climateline hose for the S9. Very very impressed. We keep our house pretty cool since we just heat with wood and the bedroom is usually 10 degrees cooler than the rest of the house (60-65 in the bedroom). First night with the climateline hose was great. No rainout, still a nice light movable hose set up. I'm a fan.

Good to read that you're enjoying your ClimateLine, Mary-Ellen!
I've been using the ClimateLine hose with no heat since June. It's been a bit cooler here this week (overcast), so I just set the heated tubing to 72 degrees (at 4.5 humidity level) a few days ago. Very nice! When it gets much cooler, I'll set it to Auto. I tried that in June, and the humidifier air was much too dry then. I think the warmth is going to feel good in the wintertime, and I love the idea of not having to use a hose cover.

Dreamon,
I have my new climate line hooked up here in warm Texas at 72 degrees auto and I too get dry. But I thought the specs say that the humidity stays at a constant 80%. So I haven't taken it off of auto yet. Maybe I'm try manual sometime. But rainout could occure when you take it off of auto,

Re: wow!!! climateline hose is great
My husband is comfy here in NJ with his climateline set at a warm 78 degrees. No rainout. I had to purchase an Aussie heated hose because I have the s8. However, April through September I use a fleece hose cover from http://www.padacheek.com to keep rain out away.
And, I honestly think that the humidifier in the machine is helping my sinuses.
I keep up a cleaning regiment for my cpap parts and my husband's. It's all good....
Best regards,
Jersey Girl
