This, this, this.  I was mouth breathing and didn't even know it until I shared a hotel room with my daughter!  Chances are good that all your therapy air is coming right out your mouth.  Try taping your mouth, seriously.  Do a search on "taping" and see the various methods used here.  Good luck, and keep trying for the right fit.
